Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident buying ZookEd. For the video course: within 90 days of purchase, if your child completes the course and the CogAT results come in below the school district’s threshold, you can get your money back under the conditions below. Printed practice books and live online classes are not refundable (see below).
Video course: the 90-day money-back guarantee
If your child completes the video course and the CogAT results come in below the school district’s threshold, you can get your money back. This guarantee applies to the video course only. It is a refund offer under the conditions below and is not a promise of any score, placement, or admission.
Conditions — all of the following:
- You request the refund within 90 days of the purchase date (the same 90 days as your course access).
- Your child finished all 19 video lessons and all 9 self-check tests, as recorded on the course platform, before the CogAT testing began (the testing start date shown on the district’s letter, or in the district’s published testing schedule).
- You send proof of the result: a letter from the school district or a screenshot from the district’s parent portal showing that your child’s CogAT scores are below the district’s threshold for the program, or that your child was not identified for it.
How to claim. Email prepcogat@gmail.com with the subject “Results guarantee”, from the address you used to buy the course, and attach the proof. We check three dates: when your child finished the course, when the testing took place, and today’s date (within 90 days of purchase). We confirm your request by email within 10 business days.
What we refund. The amount you actually paid for the course, less the transaction fees charged by our payment processor (Stripe) and our course platform (LearnWorlds), which we cannot recover. The refund goes to the original payment method and can take up to 20 business days to reach your account. When a refund is issued, your access to the course ends.
Your privacy. Sending us the district’s letter or screenshot is voluntary. You may black out your child’s name and student ID — we only need the scores or decision and the dates. We use the document only to check your claim and delete it immediately afterwards; we do not keep copies.
After the 90 days
Requests made more than 90 days after purchase are not eligible for a refund, except where required by law or where we ended your access for reasons other than a breach of our Terms of Service.
Printed practice books: no refunds
Printed Books ($49 plus shipping) are made and mailed to order and are not refundable. If your book arrives damaged, is not the one you ordered, or does not arrive, email prepcogat@gmail.com and we will send a replacement or refund you.
Live online classes: no refunds
Live online classes ($775 for nine classes) are not refundable, including if you or your child miss a class or stop attending. A paid class series goes ahead even if your group has only one child. If we cancel a class, we will reschedule it; if we are unable to deliver your series, we will refund the affected portion.
Duplicate charges and technical problems
If you were charged twice, or a technical problem stops you from using the course, contact us at prepcogat@gmail.com at any time — we will fix the problem or refund the affected charge.
No guarantee of test results
The 90-day money-back guarantee is a refund offer under the conditions above. Like all test preparation, it is not a promise of any test score, placement, or admission — see the Terms of Service.
